Founded in 2009, Global Sticks, Inc.  was formed from the combination of Northwest Sticks, Inc. and Stormax International USA.  Both Northwest and Stormax were originally small regional importers of ice cream sticks and spoons for sale in the North American marketplace.  The company quickly determined that to better serve the needs of its growing customer base, the decision to build a new state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Canada was reached.  Global Sticks, Inc. has over the past few months quickly expanded and diversified its business to a position of international prominence in dairy/food products,  paint accessories, craft products, and industrial applications.

On October 23, 2009, Global Sticks, Inc.  purchased Solon Manufacturing Company based in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.  This acquisition has enabled Global Sticks, Inc. to consolidate manufacturing to a state of the art plant in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, and sheltered manufacturing in Dalian, China.  Our plant will soon be ISO 13485: 2003 certified, American institute of baking (AIB) certified, and FDA registered.  Global Sticks, Inc. will soon be in a position to further its "FOOD SAFE" pledge with an SQF Audit.

Today Global Sticks, Inc. is one of the largest producers of ice cream sticks in the world. We have planned to produce over 8 billion ice cream sticks per year.  We are also one of the leading manufacturers in the world of Paint paddles and paint sticks.  All done in an environmentally friendly manner with renewable resources as key ingredients!
