Global Sticks incorporated is very pleased to announce the purchase of Solon Manufacturing Company’s food, dairy, paint, and craft business including all the production equipment associated with producing these products.
Solon has had an outstanding reputation for high quality wooden sticks for 75 years. They have for many years been the U.S. leader in Ice-Cream stick production with companies like Nestle, Unilever, Well’s Dairy, Ziegenfelder, Dean Foods, Ice Cream Specialties, Kroger, etc
By adding Solon’s customer base to our existing product line, Global Sticks, Inc. is enhancing its position as a worldwide leader in the production of wooden sticks and expanding our production abilities by building the world’s newest and most sophisticated wood stick manufacturing facility in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
We appreciate the confidence you placed in Solon as a customer and want to assure you Global Sticks expects to fully meet all current and future orders for those products. The transfer of Solon assets has been scheduled during the winter months in order to have as little impact to your business as possible and allow us to start producing our first sticks out of Thunder Bay in March of 2010.
